Calvin Wilson saw the open opportunity and took it, he skated hard down the ice towards the Listowel goalie and let it fly, starting the Cornerstone goal-spree off. Not less than a minute later, a beautiful pass from Austin Kelly at the blueline to MacKenzie McTeer, gave MacKenzie the open ice to skate into the Listowel end and score the second goal of the game by sending it high into the net. The second period saw the Kelly- McTeer combination strike gold again by tapping in Cornerstone's third goal of the game. Twenty seconds later, after scrambling for the puck; Calvin Wilson knocked the puck loose, passed it to Connor Johnson who sent number four sailing past their goalie.
