Prestige Boys Win Big
On Saturday, Dec. 15th, the Prestige Contracting Peewee Local League team traveled to Mount Forest.  The fans in attendance were in for a scoring barrage as the teams combined for 15 goals.

Mount Forest opened the scoring half way through the first frame. The local boys fought hard and tied the score less than two minutes later with Ryan Goetz potting one on a pass from Noah Currie.  This goal seemed to "wake the boys up" as they found the twine again at the 6:26 mark of the frame. Darren Rich potted another goal with Jordan Lang and Brenden Hinds tallying assists. One minute and thirteen seconds later,  Prestige found the net again with Jordan Lang scoring his first of four goals for a total of six points on the day, assisted by line mate Noah Currie.
The second period brought more of the same as the Walkerton boys scored four unanswered goals. Goals by Lang for two, Joel Pletch and Darren Rich collecting his second. Assists went to Brenden Hinds, Ryan Goetz, Noah Currie, Nathaniel Illerbrunn, and Thomas Crummer.
The boys lapsed defensively early in the third period, allowing Mount Forest a quick goal, but took up the task of hockey once again and scored four more goals.  Scoring were Hinds, Crummer, Lang and Goetz.  Picking up assists on the barrage were Denver Turnbull, Jordan Lang, Tanner Stumpfle and Jayden Dietz.  Mount Forest would pot one more with under five minutes left before Turnbull tallied the final time for the Prestige, ending the game 12-3.  Assists went to Noah Currie and Ryan Goetz.  Once again, Jared Pletch played his usual solid game between the pipes.  Continue to have fun and keep up the good work boys!
