Prestige Boys Wins Over RKS
It was a slow paced game with chances by both teams in the first and second periods, but the score remained 0-0 until the third period. Notable chances came from Nathaniel Illerbrunn at 5:28 of the first frame as Illerbrunn had a turn-around shot but the goalie stopped it with a pad save and Ryan Goetz at 5:13. Goetz zinged a hard shot that was stopped and later retrieved his own rebound.

The first goal of the game came from Jordan Lang at 13:54 of the third period. The assists went to Noah Currie and Tanner Stuempfle. Some digging deep in the zone allowed the boys in blue (Prestige) to get on the scoreboard first, making it 1-0. A pipe save and a terrific pad save by Jared Pletch at 13:02 kept the game at 1-0. Fancy footwork by Darren Rich and persistence paid off as Rich maneuvered around the defense, letting a shot go that hit the mesh. This goal advanced Prestige 2-0. Denver Turnbull nabbed an assist on Rich's goal.  RKS's Jacob Weiler returned with a goal at 9:51 as he tipped one in the net.  The final goal of the game came at 8:50. Noah Currie and Jordan Lang teamed up to cross the blue line. Both boys narrowed in on the net as Lang stick handled past the defense and scored, making it 3-1 Prestige.  Great game everyone! The Prestige team will be in action next weekend in a Meaford tournament. Good luck boys!
