Prestige Contracting Atom LL, U11 (Atom), 2009-2010 (Walkerton Minor Hockey Association)

Walkerton’s Prestige Contracting Atom LL participated in the Mildmay Monarchs 51st Annual Atom Tournament on March 20th and ended their hockey season by winning the Consolation Championship defeating Teeswater 3-2 in Sudden Death Overtime.

Albeit a losing cause, Sam Byers opened the scoring on Saturday's game against Durham in Atom LL  round robin play.  Byers put the visiting Walkerton Atom's on the scoreboard first and started a back and forth frenzy of scoring while notching an assist later in the game.

Walkerton's Prestige Contracting Atoms will play a home and away Round Robin against Mount Forest, Lucknow, Durham, Hanover and Walkerton Cuneo.  They started the 10 game action hosting Mount Forest who were eager for revenge after being defeated in tournament play the day before by Prestige.

The Walkerton Prestige Contracting Team Atoms participated in the Mount Forest LL Tournament on February 13th and earned the Silver medal after 2 wins and a loss. 

Walkerton Prestige Contracting played their final game of the regular season and earned a 6-0 victory over visiting Kincardine.  Christian Kieffer was instrumental in keeping Kincardine off the scoreboard.
