Post Christmas Win for Prestige Atoms
Walkerton Prestige Atoms hosted Tiverton on December 27th and walked away with a 3-2 win for their efforts. Playing with a short bench all the players stepped up to the task at hand and combined their talents for the win.
Drew Cobean put the home team on the scoreboard early in the 1st period off Nick Fairminer's rebound. Fairminer had an unassisted goal of his own in the 3rd. Cobean recorded his second goal of the game, recorded as unassisted but with lots of hard work from his teammates.
The team gets a well deserved break while they prepare for the Annual Walkerton LL Atom Tournament hosted by the Prestige and Cuneo teams on Sunday, January 10th, 2010.
