Bantam Girls Complete Regular Season
The Bantam Girls have completed the second half of their regular season.  They have been in a competitive loop that has resulted in many close and exciting games.  All the games have been action packed and have kept the fans on the edge of their seats right until the final buzzer.

Walkerton played a home and home series with Georgian Shores winning the first game 5-1 and the next game 10-0.  Both games saw a lot of puck movement and everyone made the score sheet.  Dana Borgford and the defense did a great job keeping the puck out of our net.

The Walkerton girls met up with TCDMHA for their next match.  This was a close game as it was scoreless for the first two periods.  Walkerton had a hard time finding the back of the twine with great goaltending from the TCDMHA goalie.  Finally near the end of the third period Bailey Thompson and Maddie Hickling scored with help from Stephanie Young and Sophie Borho.

Walkerton then travelled to Mount Forest for an exciting game that saw many rushes and opportunities to score.  The game was scoreless in the first period.  During the second period, both teams exchanged goals leading up to an exciting finish.  Back and forth action by two evenly matched teams lead to a 3-3 tie.  Scoring goals for Walkerton were Brina Hudson with two goals and Brooke Schnurr adding one of her own.

The final game was against West Grey which saw the girls skate away with a 2-2 tie.  Walkerton had many scoring chances but were unable to beat the posts and the West Grey goalie who played very well in net.  Scoring for Walkerton was Bailey Thompson with both goals and Maddie Hickling and Stephanie Young helped out.
