Walkerton is Outplayed
The Walkerton Power Worker's team hit a wall again- this time it was called Hanover. The team was outmaneuvered for most of the game resulting in an 8-1 landslide victory for Hanover tonight during our home game.
The highlight of tonight's game was Austin Kelly's unassisted, opening goal at 7:31 of the first period. There was a scamble in front of the Hanover net before Austin potted one for Walkerton on a backhand shot. It was a difficult night between the pipes for Jared Pletch as the opposition had multiple shots in a row and were eager to win. As the game progressed eight goals were scored by Hanover and six penalites were taken by Walkerton. Better luck and consistency is anticipated in your next game team. Go Capitals Go!
