Bantam Team Needs a Fire Lit
The Walkerton Bantam LL team ventured to Hanover on Saturday, January 18th at 7:30 and suffered a defeat since they couldn't ignite any momentum during their game.

A slow and steady decline did not win the game for the Power Worker's team on Saturday against Hanover.  The entire game lacked enthusiasm and grit normally shown by the Walkerton team.
The first goal was scored by Hanover at 8:08 between the five hole of Jared Pletch on a blasting shot inside the blue line.  At 4:26 Thomas Crummer got a shot away as three Hanover players hovered over him.  Pletch made some key saves to keep Walkerton in the game despite their failing efforts. Gina McKee played man to man as she stripped the puck from the Hanover player in an effort to prevent a goal.  The first period ended 1-0 for Hanover.
Landon Moore started the period off on a positive note for Walkerton as he did a spin around off the face off. He scored making it 1-1. The game was still within grasp as the period ended 2-1 for Hanover and Pletch made many key saves. This is also where the the wheels fell off and Hanover surged on to defeat Walkerton 5-1.
    Better luck against Kincardine tomorrow!
