Another Win
On Saturday October the 22nd, the Walkerton Pee Wee Local League #2 Prestige Contracting Team hosted the Drayton challengers.
Drayton opened the scoring late in the first period, following some strong offensive pressure. However, Austin Kelly responded with a top shelf goal prior to the period end, to tie the game at 1-1.
The second period rounded out as a draw, but kept the fans on the edge of their seats with the confident Drayton hustle and the strong work of Walkerton’s D-Men of Cody Jones, Ty Arnold, Calvin Wilson and Jayden Louther.
In the closing moments of the game, Colton Rutledge potted the winner to close it out at 2-1 for Walkerton.
