Prestige Pee Wee L.L. Continue With Playoffs
The Prestige Pee Wee L.L. team continued with Playoffs on February 20th, in Listowel.  The Cyclones defeated the Walkerton team by a score of 3-1. That’s all the details that I have, since I was not at the game.

Walkerton played host to Normanby on February 24th. The visitors were sporting two AP’d girls that we had not remembered seeing before. Well, we remember them now!
They put on a clinic of how to play the game and next thing we knew, wewere losing 7-0.  Austin Kelly scored in the final minute to make it 7-1 and save our lads some measure of dignity. Emma got 3 goals and 2 assists. She’s good.
Calder Davidson got a sunburn on the back of his neck from the goal light going on so many times. He’s tough though.

Normanby hosted Walkerton on February 27th.  Prestige were excited to welcome back Calvin Wilson, who was released from the Injury Reserve List following an undisclosed upper body injury, suffered a month earlier.
The bench staff had a plan to limit the girls and their teammates from scoring too much, the D-Men were ready to be highly mobile and the forwards were set to “wheel” and “headman the puck”.
Normanby jumped ahead to a 2-0 lead in the first. Then Christian Kieffer made a neat backhander pass to Ethan Schmidt who buried a low shot to get Prestige on the board. Shortly thereafter, Calvin Wilson lead a rush and put a backhander off the far post, only to have Jordan Bester make a quick one-timer to put the puck in, and tie the game at 2-2.
Normanby responded with 4 goals to make the final 6-2. Emma only got 2 goals (both shorthanded) and 1 assist. She’s still good. Prestige doubled their goal production. Calder’s sunburn is healing nicely.
Prestige travelled to Durham on Saturday, March 3, losing 3-1 to the home team. Walkerton's only goal was put in by Wilson, while Davidson was kept busy throughout the game as Durham took shot after shot on net.
Walkerton was down two players, Kelly and Jordan Bester, because of off-ice injuries.
