Presitge Wins Home Opener
Walkerton's Prestige Pee Wee team won its home opener against Mt. Forest, 4-1, on Sunday afternoon, Oct. 16.
The game started with a quick goal by Walkerton's Austin Kelly, assisted by Jordan Bester. Mt. Forest responded soon after with their only goal of the game, before Walkerton closed out the first period with a goal by Brett Wagner, assisted by Kelly.
Christian Kieffer, assisted by Calvin Wilson, increased the lead by two in the second period. Then Kelly, assisted by Noah Currie, put another marker on the board to finalize it at 4-1.
