A THRILLING game 3!!
Off to Shallow Lake for Game 3. Would a championship title be ours to bring home? Once again the Fritz Novice boys and girls didn't seem to nervous about Game 3 as we headed to Shallow Lake to "hopefully" bring home the trophy. With a packed barn both teams came out on fire. Shallow Lake was keen and it was very apparent that they weren't giving up too easily.
These teams know how to keep their fans on the edge of their seats. It was quite obvious after the first period that the Capitals would be working hard for the win.
Heading into the 2nd period, with a 2-2 tie, it was anyone's game. An exciting second period for Walkerton gave us the scoring advantage and the Capitals came out with a 5-3 lead going into the third. Great defensive play and awesome saves between the pipes for the Capitals gave us the confidance heading into the third that a win could be ours. AS we have found out though with our play off games, it doesn't take much to change the game.
The third period was Shallow Lakes and two goals later for the LAKERS we were heading into Over Time again. As most of the fans would agree, the Fritz Capitals have given us nothing but exciting and sometimes heart stopping action.
Another OT Period it was. Every player gave it their all. Great saves and end to end action through the foggy ice surface, kept us wondering who's win it would be. Thrity seconds left of the overtime, Shallow Lake popped one in. Lakers won 6-5.

Please join us for Game 4 back in Walkerton Sunday night March 25 at 6:30. It should prove to be another action packed game and hopefully a Championshiop for the Fritz Capitals.
