Juveniles win all important game four
It was a bit of a slow start for the home team

as Elmvale came out and asserted some early pressure but were unable to finish off any plays as the first period ended as it started. The second period continued the same as the first and Elmvale finally found the back of the net at the 9:42 mark. This goal seemed to spark the juvies as they responded with the next three goals. Andrew Dentinger scored at 7:11 on the power play off of a nicely redirected point shot from Adam Dales with the other assist going to Steve Thompson. Next Trevor Robinson scored, again on the power play, at 3:29 from Jake Barclay and Thompson. Robinson again scored at the 0:12 second mark unassisted on a breakaway down 5 on 3. Great credit needs to go to Adam Dales for two determined and relentless efforts in the defensive zone that sprung Robinson on the breakaway. Unfortuntately the refereeing continued to be way too visible in this game and Walkerton went into the flood with a 3 - 1 lead but three men in the box. Elmvale wasted very little time capitalizing on the power play and narrowed the gap to 1 at the 14:08 mark. The juvies were determined not to let another two goal lead slip away from them in the third period again and while still short handed Kyle Parks buried what ended up being the game winner at 13:18 with the helper going to Jake Barclay. Elmvale scored once more, again on the power play, but could not mount any further attack and the Capitals skated off with the game four win and the all important 3 - 1 series lead. Chris Flett had another solid game between the pipes. Walkerton will now head back to Elmvale for game 5 on Friday Feb. 17th looking to finish the series. Go Capitals Go!
