Juvies Suffer First Loss of Series
Game 3 started with a good pace and end to end action.
Walkerton opened the scoring in the first at the 4:58 mark by Kurt Petrik from Andrew Dentinger and Nathan O'Hagan. Play continued back and forth until Elmvale tied the game at 5:44 of the second period. Walkerton again took the lead on the power play at 1:26 off of the stick of Kyle Parks with helpers going to Adam Dales and Andrew Walsh and the Capitals skated into the flood with a 2 - 1 lead. In the third Walkerton extended their lead to 3 - 1 as Dentinger finished off a breakaway after a nice lead pass by Parks. To Elmvale's credit they kept attacking and scored the next three to take the win 4 - 3. Game 4 will be a good one back in Walkerton Saturday Feb. 11th at 4 pm. Go Capitals Go!
