Bantam Girls Rep- Lower Lakes, 2010-2011 (Walkerton Minor Hockey Association)

The Walkerton Capitals Bantam Girls were victorious in the Lower Lakes Female Hockey Championship last Friday in Oshawa. 35 teams from all across Ontario compete in the Bantam B division. Only the top team in each division earns the right to compete in this tourney.

The Larsen Bantam girls are on fire! They have earned the right to compete at the Provincial Championship tournament at Mississauga in mid April. They are also competing in the third round of the Lower Lakes playdowns.

The International Silver Stick Tournament hosted nine teams looking for the honorary title, and the Capitals accepted rights as the tournament Champions!   The Caps proudly went undefeated throughout the entire tourney.

Written By Shannon Busby Another gold medal for Larsens!!!   The Walkerton Capitals Larsen Bantam B girls gathered up their team to compete in the Guelph Thunderstorm tournament recently. The tournament opener took place on Jan 7th against the host team. The caps soon showed the thunder that lightning had struck.

The Larsen Bantam Rep Girls have been playing solid hockey as of late and currently have a 12 game undefeated streak going through the month of November and into December.
