Larsen Bantam Girls Undefeated in 12
The Larsen Bantam Rep Girls have been playing solid hockey as of late and currently have a 12 game undefeated streak going through the month of November and into December.

On November 20th, Mount Forest came to town with the game ending in a 1-1 draw. Scoring for Larsen’s with a big shot from the point was Monica Fritz. Assists were awarded to Destiny Berberich and Faith Yensen. Mount Forest’s goalie stood tall to preserve the tie as the Caps peppered her with many scoring chances. November 25th saw the girls travel to Goderich to face the Sailorettes. Maddy Wright opened the scoring on a sweet passing play from Kailee Liesemer and Julie Thomson. Thomson collected one of her own as Joelle Busby and Wright collected assists. The defense corp. of Shelby Fortney, Alyssa Becker, Emily Daurio and Fritz were a wall in front of goalie Alyssa Inglis who earned the shutout.
The Caps continued their road trip on Nov 27th, travelling to South Huron to take on the Sabres. Walkerton came through with a 4-2 win. Scoring for the Capitals were Thomson, Busby, Berberich and Liesemer. Assists went to Liesemer (2), Leah Kittel, Carlee Beitz and Yensen. The following day saw the Sarnia Lady Sting make the trek to the Walkerton Community Centre. Once again the Caps prevailed with a close 3-2 win. Sarnia opened the scoring in the 1st, only to have Nicole Osborne muscle her way to tie it up on a nice passing play from Yensen and Fortney. Walkerton added two more in the second by Wright and Beitz with assists to Thomson and Liesemer. The Sting added one more goal in the 3rd but could not get the equalizer.
On Dec 2nd  Larsen’s played a road game in Mount Forest. The Caps were first on the board when Liesemer fired a rocket over Mount Forest goalie’s shoulder. The assist was awarded to Thomson. The score remained 1-0 until late in the third with both teams having quality chances. Berberich sealed the victory with a hard working empty net marker. Mitchell faced the Caps on Dec 4th to try and put an end to their streak. It was a tight checking game with some quality scoring chances but as the final buzzer sounded the scoreboard read 0-0. Inglis earned yet another shutout to continue her impressive play this year.
