CMR Bantams, U15, 2007-2008 (Walkerton Minor Hockey Association)

The Bantam CMR team was off to a good start when they met Saugeen Shores #1 in the first game of playoffs on February 16th coming out with a 3-1 win. Jacob Murphy started the scoring for CMR in the second period on an assist from Dillon Hindman. Andy Beadle popped CMR's second one in with three seconds left in the second from Brent Eckenswiller and Murphy. Eric Elliott finished the scoring up in the third, assisted by Colton Louther and Murphy.

Walkerton's CMR Bantam Boys took the win on Friday night when they beat Saugeen Shores 7 to 1. Eric Elliott started the scoring in the first on an assist from Junior Berberich. Brent Eckenswiller followed with CMR's second goal, unassisted. Saugeen Shores tried to get in the game with one goal in the second bringing the score to 2 -1 but it was to be their one and only. Junior Berberich popped another one between the posts in the second on an assist from Colton Louther. Goalie Cole Dales kept CMR's net well guarded with the help of Andy Beadle, Jake Murphy, Ben Kittel, and Colton Louther ...

There was not much scoring to report for CMR in their game against Mildmay on January 11th when Mildmay took the win, 5-1, but CMR's one goal scored by Presley Cormack was memorable as the assist went to CMR's goalie, Cole Dales.

Hanover Bantams visted Walkerton on January 7 and went home with a 5-2 win over the CMR Bantams. Hanover led off in the first with two goals with Matt McLean putting in a marker for CMR, assisted by Ben Kittel. After another Hanover goal in the second, CMR's Chase Louther flipped one in from Junior Berberich and Eric Elliott. Hanover scored two more for a 5-2 final.

In an exciting match with Mount Forest, the Bantam CMR team came out on top with another win. It was a close game ending with a final score of 2-1 for CMR. Mount Forest started the scoring with a goal in the first period which was answered by a Presley Cormack's goal in the second, assisted by Eric Elliott. Jacob Murphy, affectionately known as "Cobby", popped CMR's second goal in on an assist from Junior Berberich and Chase Louther.
