Game 13 vs. Kincardine Kinucks
The final game before the Christmas break would see the Walkerton Capitals play host to the visiting Kincardine Kinucks on December 21, 2019.  The game would be a penalty filled tilt that would feature some outstanding play throughout.

The Capitals would open the scoring with 5:11 remaining in the first period when Austin Cormack fired a shot stick side after taking a centering pass from Joshua Flood and Landon Young.  Walkerton would continue to press in the Kinucks end and would be rewarded when Cayleb Peitz fired a hard wrist shot over the blocker of the Kincardine netminder, assisting on the goal was Landon Young.  The Capitals would hold a 2-0 lead after the first period.

The second period would see the Kinucks cut the lead in half scoring early in the frame.  Walkerton would restore its 2 goal lead just 24 seconds later when Austin Cormack fired a wrist shot top corner over the shoulder of the Kinucks goalie for his second goal of the game, assisted were credited to Xander Thornton and Kody Brown.  Walkerton would continue to work hard and would score less than a minute later when Cayleb Peitz scored his second of the game after taking a pass from Landon Young.  Walkerton would lead 4-1 at the end of the second period.

The third period and Kincardine would score to cut into the Walkerton lead yet again.  During the third period the parade to the penalty box would continue for the Capitals but it would be Walkerton scoring short handed when Jack Walter found the back of the net after taking a centering pass from Austin Cormack.  Walkerton would continue to hold puck possession in the Kincardine zone and would gain be rewarded on the power play when Matthew McNaughton would fire a shot from just inside the blue line that would make it through a maze of legs before finding the back of the net, assisting on the goal were Jacob Girdler and Connor McIntosh.  Walkerton would find itself down two men late in the period when a Kincardine forward crashed the net.  The ensuing scrum would see three additional players added to an already crowded penalty box for a total of 6.  The Capitals would kill off the penalties and in the end skate away with a convincing 6-2 victory.
