Game 4 vs. Saugeen Shores Storm
The Walkerton Capitals would be back on home ice on November 2nd, 2019 to play host to the visiting Saugeen Shores Storm.  The game would be played hard along the boards and feature some great scoring opportunities from both teams.

The first period would see the Storm come out quickly and press the Walkerton net.  The Capitals would run into some early penalty troubles and Saugeen Shores would open the scoring while on the power play.  The Capitals would then score two minutes later while on its own power play when Colby Schmidt cycled the puck behind the net to Austin Cormack who centred it to Jack Walter in the slot and whose wrist shot found the back of the net.  The Storm would go ahead when one of its players came down the wing and fired a shot top corner.  Walkerton would trail 2-1 after the first period.

During the second period the two teams would continue to battle and each team would have some great scoring opportunities.  The two goalies, however, would be equal to the task.  Walkerton's Ryan Hinsperger would make several huge saves including reaching behind him and pulling the pick off the goal line.  The Storm would, however, score with 1:48 remaining in the period and take a 3-1 lead into the final frame.

The Capitals would come out with speed to start the third period.  Just over four minutes into the period Austin Cormack fired a puck along the ice and into the open corner of the net, assisting on the goal were Colby Schmidt and Jack Walter.  The Capitals would continue to pressure and would tie the game with 7:09 remaining when Cayleb Peitz would fire a hard wrist shot completing a fine passing play from Landon Young and Joshua Flood.  The game would end in a 3-3 tie.

The game would be a hard fought battle but the Capitals refused to give up at any point throughout the game.  The comeback shows the resilience that the boys possess which will bode well throughout the rest of the season.
