Playoff Game 2 vs. West Grey Warriors
The Walkerton Capitals would travel to Ayton to play the West Grey Warriors in Game 2 of its OMHA playoff run.  The game would be a rematch of the two teams who opened this years playoff series.

The Capitals would open the scoring just 1½ minutes into the game when Shawn Lacey would fire the puck from just inside the blue line that would find the back of the net, assisting on the play were Connor Farrell and Jack Walter. Walkerton would hold possession in the Warrior zone and would be rewarded with just 19.2 seconds remaining when Connor Farrell would make a centering pass from behind the net to Jack Walter who would fire into the corner of the net to give Walkerton a 2-0 lead after the first period.

During the second period the two teams would continue to battle up and down the ice.  The goalies for each team would be called upon to make several outstanding saves as both teams would have some great scoring opportunities.  There would be no scoring in the period and the Capitals would take its 2-0 lead into the third period.

Walkerton would score only 14 seconds into the third period after Mason Lina fired a short from a sharp angle that would go in past the Warrior net-minder.  West Grey would respond with 10:45 remaining to break the Walkerton shutout.  Both teams would then settle into a defensive battle with neither allowing for scoring opportunities.  As the final buzzer sounded Walkerton would skate away with its first victory of the young playoff season.
