The
Walkerton Capitals have lost their first two games of the bantam LL opening playoff
round.
The visiting Capitals lost a 5-1 decision to the Saugeen Shores Storm in Port Elgin on Sunday. Keaton Eidt scored the lone marker for Walkerton, assisted by Logan Morrison.
The loss came on the heels of a 4-1 defeat to the Storm at home on Friday. The only Capitals’ goal was again scored by Eidt, assisted by Alex Brandt and Alex Kunkel.
Walkerton will be looking to turn things around this weekend with a game in Owen Sound. The boys are off the week of Feb. 18-24, but then play five games in seven days, beginning Feb. 26.
