Weber's Sweep Weekend Games
Durham arrived for a Sunday morning game, and the team was keen for a second win coming off the 10-4 victory only hours ago in Listowel Saturday night. Jarred Pletch, with a goal and an assist, is the featured player of the game in the 6-5 win.
Walkerton showed they didn't use up all their goals in the previous evenings game taking a quick 2-0 lead on goals by Pletch and Connor Johnson. Drew Cobean assisted both goals along with Joel Hillyer and Ben Schmidt each earning a helper. Cobean scored twice in the second, the first unassisted and the second goal assisted by Pletch and Hillyer.
Scott Eddyvean scored twice in the third, assisted by Joel Pletch and Johnson.
Durham inched back to within one goal, but goaltender Trevor Dillon and Walkerton's defence held off Durham's defence to earn the win.
