Tournament Semi-Finalist's
Weber's Electric were denied a spot in the Championship Game of the Walkerton Peewee LL Tournament by the visiting Ilderton Jets hot goalie!

Weber's opened tournament play against Listowel in a very tight matchup.  Joel Pletch put the home team on the scoreboard early in the first period on a pass from Scott Eddyvean and Connor Johnson.   Listowel tied the game a minute later but Walkerton regained the lead just before the buzzer went to end the second period.  Drew Cobean scored assisted by Georgina McKee and Jared Pletch.  The lead went back and forth in the third, but with 3 minutes left in the game Listowel went ahead 4-3.  Eddyvean netted Walkerton's third goal on a pass from Cobean.  Coach Al pulled the goalie in the last minute and with 40 seconds left in the 3rd period Cobean scored to tie the game.  McKee earned the assist on the tying goal.

The winner would be determined by a shootout.  Goaltender, Trevor Dillon turned away all 3 of Listowel's shooters and Drew Cobean's lead off goal would earn the victory for Walkerton.

In the semi finals Walkerton met the Ilderton Jets.  Again some great team work, determination and spirit were witnessed on the ice and great action was presented for the fans.  Ilderton scored early in the game but Eddyvean and Cobean teamed up for a goal late in the first to tie the game.  Walkerton did everything possible in the second period to score but Ilderton's goalie continued to deny them a goal.  Ilderton went ahead at the end of the second period and extended their lead with 25 seconds left in the game.  Curtis Al skated end to end with Eddyvean and Johnson to come within one goal, but the final buzzer rang 17 seconds later to end the game and Weber's hopes to play in the Championship game.

Al, Johnson and Cobean participated in the very popular Skills Competition.  Johnson won the Obstacle Course competition beating out 7 other competitors.
