WOAA NEILSON DIVISION FINALISTS
The Neilson Division Final was decided over a best of three series. The first game our boys came out strong in the first period and kept it close for a 1-0 score for Ripley heading into the second period. Strong defensive play warded off the Ripley team but more goals for them and no scoring for the Prestige boys left the Ripley team with the first win under their belt.
The second game turned out to be a great defensive game from our boys and they held the Ripley team very close.
It was an awesome game to watch and the boys attacked their offense to keep the scoring at bay. Excellent goal tending by our Matthew also kept the chances for a win alive. A 2-1 third period for Ripley kept all of us cheering hard but the final buzzer went for the year and Ripley came out with the victory!! We are so proud of all you boys and your accomplishments this season. A huge thanks to our coaching staff as well as Prestige Contracting for sponsoring our team this year.
