McIntee Boys take Home and Away Series against Blyth
Blyth visited Walkerton tonight to complete the home and aways series in WOAA playdowns. Walkerton had a resounding 10-0 win. Hunter Zettler picked up the hat trick.
Tonight was Game #6 in the WOAA Round Robin playdown for Walkerton who added 2 more points to their collection, now totaling 12 with 4 games remaining.
Hunter Zettler and his "magic skates" notched a hat trick and an assist in tonight's win. Linemate Carter Buehlow scored twice and added an assist. Tristan Zettel, Austin Kelly, Drew Cobean, Dakota Weiler, and Brayden McKenzie each scored a single.
Goaltender Aidan Quish extended his shutout streak to 10 periods.
The McIntee Boys played with determination tonight and look to carry that team effort and winning desire into Game 1 on the WOAA/OMHA playdowns tomorrow in Kincardine at 3:15. Walkerton will host Game 2 on Valentine's Day at 6:15. So bring your sweetheart to the game and cheer these boys to victory!
