Two More Points for McIntee Atom Rep
Walkerton Atom Rep continued their WOAA Round Robin play hosting the Seaforth Stars, but Walkerton claimed the title of "stars" tonight as they won 6-0.
Walkerton wasted no time in jumping into a 2 goal lead in the first 2 minutes of play. Evan Visser got things started on a pass from Curtis Al and Drew Cobean. Visser would reply again a minute later, assisted by Dorian Charette.
Brayden McKenzie, on a well passed puck off the stick of Noah Leslie, gave Walkerton a 3-0 lead after the first period.
Both goaltenders denied the puck in the second period but in the third period Walkerton found the back of the net three times and the goal post several more times!
Noah Leslie, Austin Kelly and Drew Cobean scored in the third, with assists to Dakota Weiler, Jayce Busby, McKenzie and Visser. Goalie Aidan Quish earned the shutout.
Walkerton continues WOAA round robin play travelling to Blyth on Sunday for a 3 pm game.
