A Disappointing Game for Webers'Peewees
In an early morning game against the Mildmay Monarchs, Webers' Peewees chalked up their first loss of the season, in a disappointing 6 to 1 loss. Webers' came out missing the spark and just could not ignite a play.
This morning the game was clearly dominated by the Mildmay Monarchs from the first period to the end of the third, with Webers' trying to play catchup throughout the game. Heading into the later end of the first period, Mildmay had Walkerton at a 2 nothing deficit and scrambling but with a strong shot from the blue line from Defenseman MacKenzie McTeer to forward Darian Beglaw, the shot was then tipped in by a well positioned Austin Weber. Giving Walkerton their only goal of the game.
The game was matched against the always strong Mildmay team, our goalie Calder Davidson, always on his toes did an excellent job between the pipes as usual. It was a tough loss but a lesson well learned.
