Webers Electric Open the Season with a Win
Webers' Electric PeeWees open their 2010-2011 hockey season with a win against, the always strong Durham Huskies. Weber's PeeWees accumulated 9 goals against the single the Huskies mustered.
Our PeeWee team came out strong in the first period and carried it through right to the last buzzer. Darian Beglaw came out strong with the first two goals in the first period with passing from newcomer Jacob McKeeman, and defensemen Brennan Wagner and Cody Jones. Our goal scoring was done with these 2 beautiful goals, we had one more come in Jacob Weber.
The second period was played well, giving Walkerton Webers' another 2 goals. The first play was skirted by McKeeman to forward Connor Johnson; Johnson finds the open defenseman Mack McTeer who drove it home from the point. Our fifth goal was dumped in from Beglaw with passes from McKeeman and Austin Hillyer.
As the third period came into play, the game was on, Webers PeeWee's landed 3 more goals and saw Durham get their loan goal. Goals from Darian, Connor and Jacob; all our goals were assisted by multiple team members.
As the final buzzer rang out, Webers Peewee team won the game 9 to 1. Congratulations Boys!
