Leslie Motors Novice LL, U9, 2009-2010 (Walkerton Minor Hockey Association)

Leslie Motors have wrapped up their regular season with a couple of wins.  February 6th Kincardine travelled to Walkerton.  Leslie Motors played a great offensive and defenisve game giving them a win of 3-0.  Another Shut Out for Zettel.  February 13th Walkerton went to Teeswater for an exhibition game and coming out on top 6-1. The whole team has contributed to goals, assists, great defensive plays and of course awesome goaltending by Zettel to make these wins happen. Friday January 8th Leslie Motors travelled to the cold Tiverton Arena to take on Kincardine. Davis Huber opened the first with an unassisted goal, ending the 1st period up 1.  Leslie Motors came out a little stronger in the second with another goal by Huber, assisted by Rich and Quanbury. Shortly after McTeer added an unassisted goal to the board.  Well the third period the Capitals came out even stronger and added 4 more to the score.  Scoring for the Capitals was McTeer, assisted by Quanbury and Stroeder.  Rutledge asssited by Brindley and Rich.  Both Huber and McTeer  each added another ...

Sunday, December 13th, Wingham travelled to Walkerton for an even match.  The final score at 1-1 with Walkerton's only goal scored by Huber.  The whole team played well together. The following Saturday Walkerton journeyed to Winghmam to show them they meant business this time.  Connor McTeer was on his game.  Wingham started up the scoreboard  early in the first, but shortly aftere McTeer tied it up assisted by Quanbury ending the first period at 1-1 tie.  Wingham started the second period to advance to 2-1 lead.  Well Connor had enough and added 3 more goals, 2 were unassisted and 1 ...

On November 21st Walkerton traveled to Ayton to take on Hanover. Davis Huber opened up the scoreboard into the first with an unassisted goal. Hanover started the 2nd period off strong and added 3 to the score.  Walkerton had lots of opportunities, but just couldn't get it past the Hanover goaltender.  The 3rd period saw Rich score assisted by Huber to make the score 4-2 and later Hanover added another to make the final 5-2.

Wednesday, November 11th Leslie Motors took on Walkerton Collision.  The first period was back and forth in both ends with great goal tending by both teams the score remained at 0. The second period, Connor McTeer lit up the scoreboard assisted by Huber and Brindley. Next Ben Fleischaeur from Walkerton Collision added one to their scoreboard.  Later in the period Huber scored, assisted by Cartwright and Rich.  With the score at 2-1 going into the third period, Leslie's Darren Rich scored his first career goal.
