Regan Zettel Starts 2010 with a Shut Out
Friday January 8th Leslie Motors travelled to the cold Tiverton Arena to take on Kincardine.
Davis Huber opened the first with an unassisted goal, ending the 1st period up 1. Leslie Motors came out a little stronger in the second with another goal by Huber, assisted by Rich and Quanbury. Shortly after McTeer added an unassisted goal to the board. Well the third period the Capitals came out even stronger and added 4 more to the score. Scoring for the Capitals was McTeer, assisted by Quanbury and Stroeder. Rutledge asssited by Brindley and Rich. Both Huber and McTeer each added another unassisted goals to give them each a Hat Trick and making the final 7-0. Again the whole team played a great game and Zettel an awesome game in the net his first Shut Out!! Way to go team.
The next day Mount Forest came to Walkerton, the team played a great game but came up short loosing 3-1. Walkerton's only goal was scored by McTeer assisted by Huber and Rutledge.
