McTeer on Fire!!!
Sunday, December 13th, Wingham travelled to Walkerton for an even match. The final score at 1-1 with Walkerton's only goal scored by Huber. The whole team played well together.
The following Saturday Walkerton journeyed to Winghmam to show them they meant business this time. Connor McTeer was on his game. Wingham started up the scoreboard early in the first, but shortly aftere McTeer tied it up assisted by Quanbury ending the first period at 1-1 tie. Wingham started the second period to advance to 2-1 lead. Well Connor had enough and added 3 more goals, 2 were unassisted and 1 assisted by Walker Brindley. With Walkerton up 4 - 2 going into the third, Brady Kelly chalked up his first goal of the season assisted by Huber and later in period Huber added another goal to make the final 6-2. Brown, Stroeder, Kelly and Rutledge played a great defensive game and as usual Regan was hot in the net.
