Leslie Motors Splits Last 2 Games
On November 21st Walkerton traveled to Ayton to take on Hanover.
Davis Huber opened up the scoreboard into the first with an unassisted goal.
Hanover started the 2nd period off strong and added 3 to the score. Walkerton had lots of opportunities, but just couldn't get it past the Hanover goaltender. The 3rd period saw Rich score assisted by Huber to make the score 4-2 and later Hanover added another to make the final 5-2.
November 28th saw Leslie Motors @ home against Mildmay. Quickly into the 1st minute saw Owen Cartwright score assisted by Quanbury and Stroeder. Less than a minute later Mildmay tied it up. Going into the 2nd with the scoreboard reading 1-1 there was a scramble at the boards, the puck was passed to Stroeder with a great shot dropping one it on Mildmay, assisted by Brown and Cartwright. Starting the 3rd with Walkerton up 1, McTeer scored assisted by Rich and Huber. Later saw Mildmay add one more to make the final 3-2 for Walkerton. The whole team played a great game working together to bring home a victory. Again Regan Zettlel played an amazing game in net, with lots of great saves.
