BDO loses a heart breaker
BDO travelled to Saugeen Shores Wednesday with a season starting 5 game undefeated streak. After outchancing SS 7-2 in the first period the team seemed to sag a bit and SS used the wide ice to expose some team weaknesses. While Mark Ferguson played very well and held the score close the tide eventually turned with only 19 seconds left to play when the winning goal was notched on a power play. Scoring for BDO were Riley O'Hagan and Jordan Wendorf. Some very big clean hits were dished out by both sides and several players were nursing "wounds" after the game. Outstanding overall contributions were made by Mark, Nathan and Junior. BDO resumes play this Sunday at 6 pm vs.
