CHAMPS at Minto Tournament
After dropping a very close and hard fought game to Barrie on Friday night (4-2 with an empty netter & leading 2-1 with 3 min to go !!) the BDO boys bounced back big time with 3 straight wins. They defeated Mt. Bridges 2-1, Dundalk 1-0 and whipped Durham 5-2 in the consolation finals. Goaltending was excellent from both Mark Ferguson and Chris Flett. Chris's stats are starting to look "sick". After a slow start against Durham in the finals, Captain Nathan O'Hagan scored 4 straight goals to put the game on ice and then hoisted the trophy. The boys played good clean hockey and now look to the stretch run to finish at the top of the WOAA, entering playoffs. Next up is Durham (again ) on Tuesday night.
