Walkerton Peewee Rep vs Hanover
The Walkerton Peewee Rep boys met Hanover, Oct 4th/ 08. Both teams battled hard the entire 1st period and it looked like it would remain scoreless, when Walkerton's Brandon Dales smashed one by the Hanover goalie unassisted, with only 57 seconds left.
The stage was set for the second period as Walkerton dominated, scoring 6 unanswered goals. Max Barclay began the second with an unassisted goal. Right on the heals of that goal, Chase Louther found the net with help from Jackson Stark and Josh Hamilton. Matt Lang dug deep and fed the puck up to Max to net number 4. Connor Charette watched for his chance and with a pass from Mitch Eckert, found an open corner. Max squeaked another unassisted goal in to bring the total to 6. Josh and Chase worked hard to maintain possession of the puck and Tyler Goetz rewarded his team with a beauty goal to end the second period attack. In the final fifteen Connor Charette scored his second of the game to bring the final tally to 8-0. A well deserved shutout for our dedicated goalies Jesse Lamont and Jonah Hudson. Well done boys!!
