Officially Awful
Kudos to the Peewee Rep team today as they battled against their most formidable foe--the officials. The game today in Port Elgin was hands down (or in the refs case hands up) the most difficult game to watch in recent memory. Normally, we try to instill in our children respect for authority figures of any kind, so today was a true test for these boys.
The final score was 10-0 as the curfew buzzer sounded, putting an end to the carnage. Jesse Lamont and Jonah Hudson played with their usual determination and skill, keeping the boys motivated to press on. Despite the fact that Walkerton was riding a fast train to Futilitytown, we fans were extremely proud of their restraint on the ice. It was very good to see how they continued game play without directing their frustration toward the opposing team. Well done gentlemen.
