Game #2 takes our McIntee Atom Rep boys to Belmore for a very rare away home game. Coming off fresh much needed victories at the Saugeen Shores tournament earlier in the weekend gave the boys a much needed confidence boost. This came in handy because if we were to lose this game it would be time to dust off the golf clubs. Lucas Bester led the way scoring early in the 1st on an assist from Kyle Vaughan. In the second Justin Donnelly and Lucas Bester added to our lead, Lucas also assisted on Justin's goal. In the 3rd AE clawed back one on the PP to bring them within 2. However Jake Spitzig stepped up a netted one on an assist from Justin Donnelly and Lucas Bester on a PP to regain our 3 goal lead. AE scored another on at the 6 minute mark, however Jake Spitzig and Lucas Bester each got one each to bring our tally up to six goals. Getting assists were Lucas Bester and Darian Beglaw. Ae added one more PP goal with 28 seconds remaining. The boys know they must get a handle on the penalty bug to be successful later on.
