Game #4 Moday March 30th
Walkerton @ Mildmay Win 4 - 2

The long awaited Game #4 was here and our McIntee Atom Rep boys headed back over to Mildmay after being denied the sweep the game earlier.  Mildmay hit the ice first for the warm up.  Minutes went by and still no Capitals.  Where were they?  Finally they hit the ice and took their warm-ups.  The game started and the action was fast paced.  Mildmay struck first with just over 3 minutes to play in the first to take the lead.  This held up until the 10 minute mark of the second period when Justin Donnelly scored on an assist from our two helpers from the novice champs Carter Buehlow and Hunter Zettler.  About 5 minutes later Lucas Bester scored to take the lead on an assist from Bailey Zettler.  In the 3rd period Mildmay once again tied it up but our boys never say die attitude prevailed and Lucas Bester scored again, this time assisted by Bailey Zettler and getting in on the fun our Goalie Ryan Bester.  Lucas earned the hat trick late in the third on an unassisted empty netter.  The siren sounded and the game was over and the celebration began.  After a long 51 game season your Atom Rep boys were WOAA Gregg Division Champions.  Gongratulations to the boys and the hard working coaching staff of Joe Zettler, Pat Donnelly, Kenny I mean Kim Biesenthal, and Dave Spitzig.  And a thanks to our sponsors McIntee Real Estate, and all the volunteers with Minor Hockey and Minor Sports who make this all possible.

After the game I found out why the boys took so long getting out to the ice.  In the far dressing room I heard a faint cry for help, I opened the door a crack and there they were... The replacement players, all beaten and locked in the room.  The boys didn't take any chances this time.  If anyone from Mildmay is reading this, we kind of forgot to let them out.  Oh well.
