Chris Knott Memorial Game #3 Saturday March 7th
Walkerton vs. Kincardine Win 5 - 4
After a brief rest our McIntee Atoms were back at it facing an old divisional rivalry Kincardine. Our boys opened the scoring early on a goal by Jake Spitzig. Drawing the assists were Justin Donnelly and Michael McAskill. Jake wasn't finished yet. After catching his breath on the bench, his very next shift netted his second this time assisted by Curtis Biesenthal. After being bit by the penalty bug being down by 2 players Kincardine brought it within on on a PP goal. In the second period Justin Donnelly scored unassisted to bring our lead back to 2. However Kincardine answered right back. Not to be out done Justin scored another unassisted goal again to bring the lead back to 2. In the 3rd Kincardine opened the scoring to cut the lead to one again. Then with just over a minute and a half to play Kincardine tied it up. However on the faceoff follwing just 10 seconds later Justin Donnelly completed the Hat Trick on an assist from Jake Spitzig. This game set up a rematch to be held on Sunday for the Consolation Championship.
