Walkerton vs. Ingersoll Loss 7 - 3
Game #2 got the boys up bright and early to face a very strong team in Ingersoll. Congrat's to them as they went on to be unbeaten in the tournament. Back to our game after the parents were done circling around Tim Horton's the boys settled in and got ready to play. After a scoreless 1st period Ingersoll struck first early in the second. Just over a minute later our Capitals tied it up on a goal by Calvin Wilson. Drawing the assist was Lucas Bester. This seemed to anger the Ingersoll team as they scored 3 more unanswered goals to take a big lead into the 3rd. In the 3rd Ingersoll struck first again. However we came back and Justin Donnelly netted one assisted by Curtis Biesenthal and Michael McAskill. Ingersoll scored 2 more quick ones then Lucas Bester with just over a minute to play called out Last Goal Wins and scored the final goal of the game unassisted and under the universal pond hockey rules that is as good as a win.
