Webers Peewees, U13, 2007-2008 (Walkerton Minor Hockey Association)

The Webers Peewee boys wish to bid you a fond farewell. With their victory in last week's championship game, they have come to the end of a fantastic hockey season. They wish to acknowledge the support and dedication of their many fans. With parents, grandparents and especially Aunt May showing up time and time again, how could they lose. It was wonderful to see so many folks from the Larsens team, at the final game, to cheer us on.

Walkerton can add another trophy to the case, thanks to the drive and determination of Webers Electric Peewee boys. Wednesday, March 19, in front of 1000 or so fans, Walkerton claimed their well deserved title as W.O.A.A. Peewee LL Champs. We all knew we were in for a heart stopper, when Teeswater scored early in the first period.

Webers Electric Peewee boys began their final playoff series, March 18, in Teeswater. The boys came to the ice, prepared to put on a great show, and they certainly did. Walkerton scored their first goal 36 seconds after the puck was dropped, points going to Max Barclay and Curtis Davidson.

And the Weber's Round Robin goes bob, bob, bobbin along!! The 8th and final game in the Peewee boys, round robin was held March 15 in Durham. The Walkerton boys were smokin' during this game. The proof was in the 2 fire alarms they set off, evacuating the building.

Webers Electric Peewee boys hosted Minto in the 7th game of the 8 game round robin. But with Nick Flett and Josh Konecny injured and Caleb Diebold away, Webers was forced to play with a skeleton crew. It took it's toll in the game on March 12, when Webers dug deep but came up shy.
