Skeleton Crew Worked to the Bone!
Webers Electric Peewee boys hosted Minto in the 7th game of the 8 game round robin.  But with Nick Flett and Josh Konecny injured and Caleb Diebold away, Webers was forced to play with a skeleton crew.  It took it's toll in the game on March 12, when Webers dug deep but came up shy.

With no score in the first period it looked as though this would be another close game for Walkerton.  Minto netted
2 quick goals in the second, setting Walkerton on the defensive.  Max Barclay scored the first goal for Walkerton, assisted by Steve Perdue.  Minto answered back with their 3rd goal.  Curtis Davidson set up the next goal, for Max to tip in, making the score 3-2.  Minto netted another goal before ending the second period.  In the third period, Walkerton exploded from the dressing room and forced one more goal in for a hat trick for Max and a nice assist for Aaron Hill's point total.  With Walkerton losing steam, Minto took to their offensive play and scored 2 more goals to end the
game at 6-3.   Well played boys.  Despite their loss, Webers Electric will advance to the next round.  Until then.
