Pitt Powers Langs to 4-3 Win
The Walkerton Lang's Midget Girls headed to Ripley Sunday, Nov. 11 and came away with a 4-3 win.
Ripley got the game off to a quick start with a goal 5 minutes into the first. Lang's Christie Pitt rebounded back with a goal assisted by Jill Pitt and Leticia Barber. 30 seconds later, Christie Pitt scored again assisted by Jill Pitt and Gabrielle Lehman. After two more Ripley goals later in the second, Langs went into the third down 3-2. The girls came back onto the ice ready to win the game and Christie Pitt made it a hat trick with her goal late in the third assisted by Jill Pitt and Kayla Bester. With the game tied, Rachael Diebold stepped up to win the game 4-3. Assists went to Christie Pitt and Steph Lamont. Langs next game is back in Ripley Tuesday, Nov.13 at 8:30 against the rep team.
