Davidson Leads Langs
The Midget HL Lang's girls participated in the Reeves Cup in Mount Forest Sunday January 6, 2008 and came away with a 3-1 win.
Langs started the game all over Mount Forest and sure enough in the first period Claire Davidson scored with a tip in from the point, assisted by Rachael Diebold and Erin Neil. Later in the second Davidson again put Langs on the board with a sweet backhand. With 4 minutes left in the game Christie Pitt found the net with the assist going to Rebecca Engel and Jill Pitt. Langs held on to the shut out until Mount Forest slipped one by a minute later. Emily Golem in the net kept Langs in the lead. Shots on goal 41-16 for Langs. Davidson was also named MVP of the game and was fastest skater in the skills competition. Langs head down to Cambridge this weekend (Jan 11-13) for a tournament.
