Following our first game (exhibition) of the season, Walkerton Minor Hockey's Pee Wee rep roster has been finalized. On behalf of the coaching staff, I would like to personally thank all boys who have skated with us the first few weeks.

If we are gauging our success entirely on the scoreboard, our first game may seem to have been a little challenging. We certainly made mistakes, but mistakes are welcome, as long as we take the opportunity to learn from them. That being said, there are many positives to take away from yesterday's game as well.
Moving forward, with two more exhibition games coming up, we'll continue to let the boys try different positions, after which point, Devin, Jake and myself will figure out what works best for the team. Of course the boys will have input, but I'm big believer in making sure our defence and our centre positions are comprised of some of our strongest skaters.
Please note that Carrie Goll has stepped up and offered to take on the role of team manager. There are a few dads who have expressed interest in stepping on the bench as trainers, and once I have confirmed with them I will keep you posted.
