Game 6 vs West Grey Warriors
The Walkerton Capitals would travel to Ayton on Sunday, Nov. 20th for an afternoon game against the West Grey Warriors. Walkerton would be playing the first of a mini 3 game road trip.

The two teams would begin the first period at a fast pace with each making rushes into the other zone only to be stopped by fine goal tending.  Walkerton would get on the board first when Travis Goll sent a wrist shot past the glove of the Warriors net-minder.  West Grey would respond with a minute 33 left in the period when after a goal mouth scramble the puck was fired in behind our goalie Talon.  Travis Goll responded just under a minute later when his shot found the back of the net after taking a pass from Colby Schmidt.  Walkerton lead 2-1 after the first period.

The second period and the Capitals scored just 21 seconds into the frame when Seth Young parked himself in front of the net and slid a hard shot into the Warriors net assist by Jack Walter.  The two teams continued to battle back and forth but neither team would score again in the remaining minutes.  The score after 2 would have the Capitals leading 3-1.

The Capitals would score 17 seconds into the third period when Travis completed his hat trick assist created to Jack Walter.  The Warriors would score with 6:31 remaining to narrow the gap.  The two teams played hard throughout the game, each team had great scoring opportunities but were stopped by better goaltending.

The Capitals remain undefeated with 5 wins and a tie through the first 6 games.  The passing game seemed to have improved with every game, while the defence is shutting down the opposition and its scoring chances, the goal tending has been top notch.
