Strong Play of Late
The Bantam Rep Boys are starting to play some good team hockey of late. The team has put together a string of good games. Over the last 3 games the team has 2 wins and 1 loss. At the West Grey Tournament held in Ayton this past Sunday they won in a shootout 2-1 over the host team. Our goalie, Christian, stopped all 5 shooters in the shootout to get the win. We then lost a very spirited game to Blyth-Brussels but certainly had our scoring chances to win it. On Monday we played host against a strong Minto team and came out with a 4-1 victory. This was our best game of the year as the team played hard for 3 solid periods. We are looking forward to continuing this strong play this Thursday and Friday versus South Bruce and Saugeen Shores.
