Silver Stick Tournament
Bantam Boys Continue to Improve!
The Bantam Rep Boys played very competitive hockey in a very competitive B-CC Silver Stick Tournament held from December 27th to the 30th in Kincardine. The team finished the tournament with a 2-2 record with wins against a very strong Tavistock team and Twin Centres. The 2 other games versus Kincardine and Mitchell can only be described as heartbreaking losses. After falling behind in each of these games the boys worked their tails off to tie both games only to be beaten in the last 40 seconds in BOTH games. Like I said, heartbreaking. With a tie in either of those 2 games the team would have headed straight to the finals. Even with this tough tournament result this team gives both their coaches and parents great optimism heading into both the WOAA and OMHA playoffs. Keep up the hard work boys!
