Recipe for Success !!
You could see it coming, getting closer to being right.  The Walkerton Dental Center Midget Rep boys snapped a recent skid with a victory over Durham, 4-2 on Monday night in Walkerton.  Jake Elliott almost was bored, as the boys controlled the puck in Durham's end most of the night.  Going into the 3rd the score was tied 1-1, even though the balance of play and many great chances were in Walkerton's favour.  That first goal was a nice on low point shot by Braydon Berberich from Nathan O'Hagon and Alex Dales 4 minutes into the first.  Durham got the equalizer on a power play in the second.  In the 3rd the Walkerton boys did not ease off and after numerous chances, and some goal posts, Nathan O'Hagan knotted a rebound off the end boards on a shot from Alex Dales.  In spite of carrying the play Durham got a niffty goal beating Jake Elliott to tie the game with only 4 minutes to go.  Panic did not set in though, and the Walkerton boys kept up the onslaught and were rewarded on a goal by Jake Barclay who batted in a rebound from Paul Gill with a minute 30 to go !!  Not to be outdone Jordan Wendorf was in the right place at the right time (finally with his stick on the ice) and also flicked a juicy rebound into the twine 11 seconds later on a nice play and shot by Nathan O'Hagan.  Durham went home knowing the best team won for sure, tonight.  Special note to Paul Gill who has really picked up his game of late and to some very steady D from all 4 regulars (Wright, Koller, Cassidy and Reed).  Also note worthy was the usual fine reffing by Rick Struikus, as only 5 penalties were called, all being well deserved.  Next up is Kincardine next Monday in Walkerton.
