Walkerton and Mount Forest Go Head to Head
Mount Forest Rams visited Walkerton just prior to Santa's appearance at the Walkerton Parade, and it was evident right the first face off that neither teams were going to be giving their opponents any "gifts."
Mount Forest opened the scoring midway through the second period after a scoreless first period. Ben Schmidt was solid in net and kept his team in the game throughout. Drew Cobean tied the game up on a pass from Noah Currie. Mount Forest took the lead in the third period only to have Walkerton reply 2 minutes later with Nicholas Fairminer scoring unassisted.
End to end action continued with the game ending in a 2-2 tie.
